PSP Sports And More is a program for Private-school Satellite Program (PSP) students that provides classes and sports throughout the year to help educate children, two years old through college. These PSP students are educated in the home by their parents. Because of the commitment of these parents to teach their children at home, most families are single income with one parent staying home to instruct the children. In addition to this, the parents are providing for the school needs (curriculum, etc.) of their children without government assistance. There are times when families are able to provide the basics for their children’s home education but do not have extra finances to participate in our activities. We charge registration fees to help cover our expenses. Our commitment to these families is that they can participate if they cannot pay. Because PSP Sports And More is a non-profit, outreach ministry of God’s Word Church we are able to accept tax deductible donations to help provide a way for these families to participate in our activities.
PSP Sports And More offers sports and classes, all with a Biblical worldview for PSP students. We are a unique organization that incorporates the whole family in instruction. The ministry of our organization is to help these families by supporting the education process through sports, fine arts classes, science classes, English classes, and more. We do not have paid staff and all of our coaches (instructors) are volunteers as well. Some of the expenses we incur are: renting facilities, gymnasiums, parks, etc. Additionally, we have to purchase equipment, supplies, and insurance. We can offer tax deductible receipts for donations from individuals and businesses that want to support families in raising responsible citizens for our society.
